Gegužės 19 dieną gimnazijoje vyko eilėraščių vertimų konkursas rusų-anglų kalbomis “Pavasario poezija”. Konkursą rengė rusų mokytoja Ilona Mockuvienė ir anglų kalbos mokytoja Vaida Mendelienė. Jame dalyvavo I-ų klasių mokiniai. Vertimui buvo pasirinktas Vaidos Mendelienės kurtas eilėraštis:
